Who is Your Local PT?

Your Local PT is a Group Training business and we also conduct in-home programs which are instructed by fully qualified Fitness Australia personal trainers. We also provide nutritional and motivational coaching. We care about you and want you to feel like you are not just a number in a gym. We are available 24/7 to assist you on your health and fitness journey. We are here to help you achieve your personal goals, no matter what your current fitness level.

OUr two trainers are Paul and Charmayne. Paul has over 10 years experience in the industry and Charmayne has over 2 years experience.
 
I'm not very fit can i still come along?

Your starting fitness level is not a concern to us nor should it be a concern to you. All class participants work to their own limits and when we feel you are ready we challenge you to push further. Our clients in each class can range from 4 years to 4 days of training with us. In a recent survey over 47% of clients had been with us for 2-3 years. We must be doing something right!

 

What if I’m too busy to train? I'm time poor!

Time constraints are a challenge for everyone in today’s world. With this in mind we also run 45 minute sessions as well as our usual 1 hour session.

I do believe though that there is not a better use of your time than on your health. All the money, friends, family and material possessions mean nothing if you are not here to enjoy them.

What do I need to do to get started?

You need to complete our online health form at this link when you attend your first Complimentary FREE trial session.

There are 5 things other you'll need to bring to each and every session:

  1. A water bottle
  2. Your debit form with relevant bank details (for your first paid session)
  3.  A towel
  4.  A smile
  5. A willingness to an attitude of change

As simple as that!


What results can I expect?

Our sessions include exercises designed to firm your butt, tone your arms and thighs, flatten your stomach, melt body fat and create a self-belief and new zest for life with an ability to do things you never thought possible.

You can also expect to drop some centimetres and kilo's. The more you train, the more you can expect to lose.

How often should I train?

We suggest at least 3 times a week to really start to see results. If you are doing other forms of exercise, at least 2 sessions a week. Anything less than 3 exercise sessions a week won't get you the results you deserve.

Dedicating 3 hours a week to exercise out of the 168 hours a week you have available is not a lot when you think of the rewards that come with it.

 

Can I pay cash?
No. If you are serious about your health and well being and want to reach your goals then we ask you to make a commitment. We accept 2 forms of payment. Automatic direct debit, or prepurchase of a 10 session card.

By making this committment and then using our online booking system to put in your diary that we get the best results. The commitment to an appointment and a financial commitment work well to enable you to reach your goals.


What can I expect after training?
Most people do feel a little sore for the first couple of days. But rest assured, after the first 1 or 2 sessions, the soreness does subside. This is also about how much effort you put into eash session. Some people actually like the feeling of soreness to show they have worked hard. We are happy to encourage and challenge you to reach this level but also understand that not everyone enjoys feeling this way.

To reach your goals and kick start your metabolism you need to push yourself.

How does it work?

We believe in variety for everyone and because of this we don’t have set sessions each day, night or morning. We change the sessions each week so if you are only able to train certain days of the week then you get variety and not the same session each week.

Along with variety we make sure our training is fun and social. These factors are just as important as the training itself. This is one reason why our Bootcamp training is conducted in a non-military style without the yelling and screaming.
