I have a complaint regarding Paul’s PT training. Since attending Paul’s morning sessions I have had to spend several hundred dollars on alterations to my wardrobe. I have also incurred the expense and inconvenience of shopping for new clothes thanks to the success of Paul’s training.
Seriously, back in August I’d never have thought I’d be getting up at 5 am let alone at that time to attend training sessions three times a week. Six months later, 15kg lighter and 4 inches smaller (around the waist) I found myself missing the workouts over the Christmas break. Running on your own doesn’t rate compared to being part of a group session “coached’ by Paul. Paul makes it easy to front up to the early sessions as there is no repetition and the results speak for themselves.

I spotted Paul and his Mums & Prams classes out and about my local streets one morning while on my walk. I had a 2 year old and had just had my 2nd child who was about 4 months old. I was carrying around a fair bit of excess weight, from both pregnancies and knew I needed to do something different and motivating if I was going to get rid of any of it.
So I approached Paul and got the details of his classes and started the following week. I went to both classes each week and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The first 2-3 weeks it was hard to keep getting myself and the two kids out the door but I knew once I was there I'd be fine. I lost 9kg's in roughly 4 months and my fitness has improved dramatically. I can now walk and jog comfortably and I now find that I enjoy exercising. I can even do push ups now! I still have a way to go, but Paul has definately gotten me back exercising and enjoying it again.
I feel 100% and would recommend it to all Mum's, especially new mums. It's a great way to get out and feel "normal" again and hear all the strugles and experiences the other Mums are having. It's not intimidating at all, everyone there is there for the same reasons!! Love it!! Thanks so much Paul, you've definately helped me on the road to getting back my old self again!

Paul I feel great.... thank you for your help with my weight loss/get fit journey.
I started out as an overweight, unfit mother of 2 with heaps of excuses, The kilo’s had crept up, I felt tired, depressed and unhealthy and was using the kids as an excuses for my weight gain. I remember feeling so awful when size 16 shorts were too tight, so decided then and there I had to do something as I was NOT going to buy a size 18.
I was being a classic "one day" fitness person. One day I will get fit, one day I will lose weight......... so one day I called Paul.....
Paul’s Mums and Pram Group training is wonderful and lots of fun, it has been the most challenging, enjoyable and rewarding exercise program I have ever undertaken. I would highly recommend it to any mums out there that would love to get fit, feel great and meet some like minded mothers. The classes are always different and the exercises are tailored to our individual fitness levels. I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful I feel since these changes, I’m now 20kg lighter and wear size 10 clothes – no more loose clothing to hide the lumps and bumps.
Once again, thanks a million Paul for you’re never ending advise, encouragement, praise and guidance. I'm so grateful I made the call.

I like the challenge of each night's training as there is always plenty of variety. If I didn’t enjoy training I wouldn’t come and hang with some great, wonderful people. Sometimes I feel drained after work and before training and that my mind is not there. But after training I feel much more alive and refreshed although exhausted. I like boxing the most and think here should be more boxing sessions. I also think that the people make the session. You have a great group of people and I think this contributes to making your business success. I would recommend your business to all of my friends. I really enjoy what you have to offer."

"After giving birth to my daughter I found it easy to use every possible excuse to avoid physical training, but mustered up the courage to just give Mums and Prams a try when my daughter was 11 weeks old. I would have to plan my whole day around getting to class on time with my little girl, and did it twice each week. Within weeks of going to Mums and Prams with Paul your local PT, I began to notice positive change in my physical fitness. I trained consistently with Paul for six months and gained strength, muscle tone, weight loss and improved stamina! Paul is motivating and extremely supportive in developing your knowledge on different exercises to target specific muscle groups (especially the abdominal region after birth). Paul is easy going and adapts the training session for all levels of physical fitness from beginner to intermediate. I would rate Paul's services as 10/10 and highly recommend Mums and Prams to all mothers who want to get active with their baby and meet other mothers."

My goal was to be 60kgs by the end of Jan and this morning I was 58.3kgs so pretty pleased with myself. Well on target to be 50kgs by the end of June but guess things may slow down a bit. I have registered to do a 5km fun run - the International Womens Day one on 8th March. I managed to run 5kms along the bike path at Mitchie the other morning (after barely managing 2kms to start with!) so happy with that too! The only other injury has been when Oliver decided to stick his fingers in the treadmill - while I was running!!!! So he doesn't have a lot of skin left on his index finger - lucky that's all that happened. Generally enjoying being more active. Think I am going to have to make my reward for this month a belt - as everything is getting so loose on my waist! Loving it!

“I am very excited and couldn’t wait to tell you Paul….. I competed in my first ever triathlon today...breast cancer fundraiser at Runaway Bay. 200m/6K/2K. I don’t know my time yet but I worked incredibly hard during the event so I am happy. I have to thank you for the way that you have changed my perspective on sport/exercise. (Not to mention the 6Kg I have lost). I am no longer scared of my body hurting! During the run I was hurting bad so I imagined that I was in a class and that you were pushing me to run faster. Good on you Paul. You are a star!
I didn’t think this would be possible but after about 5 months of training and encouragement from Paul I firstly was able to run the 5km in the Bridge to Brisbane and now my triathlon. I have been training under Paul’s watchful eye for over 2 years now, which is a record for me to remain committed over that period of time. I had previously joined gyms and went for maybe 2 months at max but then lost motivation this use to happen to me on a regular basis and too top it off apart from not raising my fitness level it was very costly as well!!! I know I have stuck with Paul because of his excellent skills in fitness training and personal motivation
I started under Paul as a one on one client and it was rewarding right from the start, he took an interest in me and identified problems with my body’s balance. He has helped me improve this through specific exercises and expert advice on running shoes etc. I now attend group classes and while sometimes missing that one on one intensity & attention, I find the friendships created by similar drives of others wanting to get fit very rewarding and motivating.
I was 97Kg when I first started I am now at 82kg, decreasing and loving it. My life would never be the same as it is now if I had not made the initial call after seeing the classes in the park.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for all you have done for me throughout 2008, there have been challenging moments, but as the year comes to a close I am happy with the progress I have made. Having started the journey towards a healthier lifestyle towards the end of 2006, it has taken a lot longer than I ever expected to get to where I am now, but I understand now that health and fitness is a life time commitment, not a fleeting moment in time. Another important lesson I learnt this year is consistency in training is a must, without consistency the troughs and peaks can be brutally unpredictable. You are a great trainer and the fact that I have continued with it is a testament to your ability to keep me continually motivated. I know that with your guidance and training I can achieve my goal for 2009 to run the Gold Coast Marathon, and for 2010 to run 100k through Blue Mountains.
